Welcome back to the Inside Yorkshire podcast. In this episode Susan is finding out about how this railway depends on a volunteer workforce to run it. This heritage railway is run by a huge team of wonderful volunteers, and it would not be viable without their hard work and efforts.

Today's guest is Helen Ashworth who is the Volunteer Coordinator & Lead Fundraiser at Wensleydale Railway. She has a mammoth task coordinating the huge team of volunteers without whom the railway would not function. She talks at length about the work that they undertake all year round, as well as the festive events that are being held over this christmas period.
