In this week's episode of Inside Yorkshire Susan talks to Roger Cheetham who survived a vicious attack whilst out walking his dog. Although he was left for dead and needed many months in hospital Roger has been able to take this life changing experience and turn it into a message of resilience.
About the Guest:
Roger was attacked whilst walking his dog, an unprovoked attack in June 2013 and despite carrying cash, his telephone and the keys to his pub -The Bassett in Fox Hill, Sheffield - he was not robbed. Roger's life has been changed permanently, he is now disabled, but instead of being defined by his attack he has managed to turn the event around and use it as a positive message of overcoming adversity and promoting resilience.
He is the founder of "Live the Life you deserve" and speaks internationally about how he feels it has changed his life for the better, a message of resilience.
